I'm using a computer Dad bought me, sitting beside a wooden cabinet Miranda gave me, beneath a beautiful poster Claire gave me, across from an amazing quilt Elizabeth made me, by a ladder (for shelving books) from HCF which is beside a mirror Gill gave me with Scriptures all over the back (which is similar to the other two mirrors in this room which Claire bought me), which is across from a framed print from the Rileys. Oh, and I'm wearing a sweater that used to be Laurie's... and slippers from Claire. Yesterday I was wearing one of Gill's old sweaters, which I wear pretty much ALL the time.
My point was especially to say thanks to my parents for the food (last week I ate mostly water and blueberries) (and by the way, don't think I'll starve if you don't give me more - I was just working way too hard and adjusting and forgot to live normally!!!). But isn't it cool to be part of a community where we share things? I love it. You guys are so generous. A lot of you are all around me in various ways every single day, and I know it's the same the other way around with some of you (on my end it's probably more like art or things I wrote to you/made... sorry, I'm not as good with objects!). I think it's the way life should be!
Anyway, thanks!

Isn't that cool, having reminders of people that love you all over the place? Even ON you?
I love that. That's our furniture situation! (with the exception of Jesse's Dad, who I'm not sure loves me or not.....)Ha.
Yeah, Mom, your salads are amazing!!
Miss you, Bek. Yesterday Aria asked (while eating her ham sandwich) if they kill the pig's face as well as it's body to make ham. It's FACE. I almost burst out laughing, but remained calm talking about when something is dead, well, it DIES...uhhhhh....what is appropriate for a 5 year old?! ANYway, then she asks (still eating the sandwich, mind you)whether the pig's face can still see after you kill it's body. And can it still talk like WILBUR when you kill it's body!
I have got a LOT of explaining to do. I thought she was clear on the whole dead/alive thing. And the animals can't really talk thing.
Love you!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
i'm laughing so hard right now, but trying not to make noise so i don't sound like a lunatic to my landlords who are directly above me right now!
hahahahahahahaha... classic.
I thought you'd like to know that the moment you leave Hamilton, Harvey's on the corner of King and Dundurn, closes it's doors forever.
Clearly your purchases of poutine and a hut dug or burger was one of their larger sources of income.
A part of Hamilton died when you left.
On another note, the carpets from our place were ripped out a couple days ago. I'm too ashamed to show my face around there. Not that Joe would recognize me--I've driven by him a few times and he hasn't recognized me. He's a quick one.
Oh and as I write this I can hear the TV that came from your Dad sitting in the TV cabinet given to me by my dad which is near the dinning table from Jenn with the painting by you hanging on the wall and the bookcase I got from my old youth pastor has a globe and the doctor's bag given to me by my uncle on it.
THAT is a fun game.
Sigh.
I miss your company, friend. You bring so much life into...everyone's life.
Can't wait to see you tomorrow!!!
love you
