Yay Thriver!
The other day I was encouraging Thriver and pulling on some of the stems so I could see what was going on... and I totally "handled" a big yellow spider! AAAAH! Then I killed it. Nice, eh? Unconditional love for the ONE living thing, and unconditional hate for the other. Well, not HATE. But still.
Anyway, excluding the spider (and any other bugs lurking around), I feel like I have a little green roommate. Is that pathetic? Hahaha. I don't REALLY mean that, but isn't it interesting how living things are SO DIFFERENT than non-living things? I'm not saying that Thriver is going to heaven or anything - but we have this in common - we're both created by His will and Word, and LIFE is sustained in us by that same Word. Cool, eh? We have the breath of God in us - life! And that's a precious thing!
I'll have to get Sarah to care for Thriver while I'm gone.
What a trooper! You grow, girl! Except that Thriver is a boy. But I just had to use the cheesy expression.

yaaaaaay Thriver! He's so cute. But it sounds like he's going through 'the change' and turning into a man before our eyes.
I might have a female companion for him if you're interested--Deborah. She's...well, let's admit it, she's a little plump, but I think they'd be a good match.
They seem to like going to the same places--dark rooms. Ew. That came out all wrong.
Anyway--you don't want to bring Thriver with you over the holidays?
